Master Bedroom Interior Decoration

Melissa from MotzDesigns is extremely professional and presented very clear easy-to-follow ideas and concepts. Melissa has a warm, caring and gentle nature and made us feel extremely comfortable from the beginning.

We initially engaged Melissa to provide wall furnishings for our renovations. After discovering she had a diploma in interior design, we also then engaged her to assist us with paint, wallpaper and furniture selections for our entire home. Our brief was to create something warm, inviting and homely, with a touch of style and sophistication. We wanted a relaxing space where family and friends felt immediately comfortable.

At each stage of our renovation, Melissa presented us with mood boards, and 3D images and came to us with samples of what she was thinking. Nothing was too hard for her, she respected our thoughts and listened to our ideas and then was able to piece things together to create a unique atmosphere for each room. She was available when we were unsure of colours or styles to talk through our options and provide her thoughts.

At the end of the process, Melissa was also able to suggest soft furnishing options which elevated our space from a house to a home.

We would highly recommend Melissa for any job big or small. She is polite, professional and always on time, she is willing to go that extra mile to ensure customers are comfortable and their needs are met.

A TRUE ARTISAN

We have just taken delivery of our new soft furnishings from MotzDesigns and we are delighted. Mel reupholstered a wingback chair and footstool for us along with three beautiful cushions to go with an existing sofa. The wingback and footstool were over 27 years old and required new webbing and foam. Mel is a true artisan and meticulously recovered a much-loved chair that now looks brand new – the transformation is stunning. Mel was with me every step of the journey from considering the fabric, sending samples, providing advice and visiting our home with larger samples in an effort to assist us with our choice. I cannot recommend her highly enough. We also fell in love with the bean bag cushions for the pool area and are now the proud owners of two of these, which are great for lounging around the pool or on top of the pool! You really need to consider Mel when looking for soft furnishings as she has an excellent eye for colour and provides a service that is exceptional.
