THE STORY OF OUR BEGINNINGS
Before Melissa’s journey as a passionate interior designer unfolded, she embarked on an extraordinary venture as the visionary owner of a thriving soft furnishings business. With an impeccable eye for detail, she sourced unique interior and outdoor fabrics, providing her clients with the perfect means to personalise and elevate the beauty of their homes. Influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement, she drew inspiration from the principles of craftsmanship and artisanal design, infusing her creations with a sense of timeless elegance and authenticity. For a thrilling span of eight years, she devoted herself to meticulously curating havens of unique interiors, where soft furnishings, including curtains and Roman blinds, came alive, weaving captivating stories into her clients’ living spaces through carefully selected materials.
Melissa’s commitment to excellence went beyond sourcing fabrics. She took great care in measuring her clients’ homes, ensuring that every piece of soft furnishing, from curtains cascading elegantly to Roman blinds exuding sophistication, fit seamlessly into the space, creating a harmonious and welcoming ambience. From crafting exquisite upholstery pieces to designing bespoke cushions, she poured her heart into every aspect of the creative process, leaving no detail untouched. Melissa’s passion for interior design and home renovation ignited at the age of twenty-two when she purchased her first home.
